Individual Counselling

What to Expect

Beginning counselling can feel like a vulnerable step, and also a deeply empowering one. I honour the courage it takes to reach out for support. Having walked my own therapeutic journey, I understand both the uncertainty and the growth that can unfold through this process.

A Safe, Confidential Space

Our sessions offer a calm, private and non-judgmental environment where you are free to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace. Confidentiality is central to my practice, creating a foundation of trust and psychological safety.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you arrive — we begin exactly where you are.

How We’ll Work Together

I take an integrative and collaborative approach to counselling, meaning our work is tailored specifically to you. Drawing from evidence-based modalities including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices, we’ll explore what feels most supportive for your goals.

Together, we may work to:

  • Build emotional regulation and resilience

  • Understand recurring patterns in relationships

  • Strengthen self-compassion, boundaries and self-trust

  • Process difficult life experiences and unresolved wounds

  • Develop practical tools to navigate anxiety, stress or overwhelm

  • Gently explore patterns of coping, including addictive behaviours, and cultivate healthier, more sustainable strategies

A Commitment to Your Progress

Counselling is a process that unfolds over time. With your active participation, we'll work together to achieve meaningful progress, whether through short-term focused sessions or a longer-term therapeutic relationship.
